The Coleman Dome tent is a great six-person tent, and one of my favorite features is the screened-in porch. This allows you to keep your luggage or your pets in a separate area while you sleep so you don’t track dirt into your tent. Another feature that I love is the layout. When you’re trying to fit six people into a single tent, the rectangular format makes the tent feel more spacious. There’s no wasted space. In addition, the tent is weatherproof. If you encounter rain or even a little bit of snow or heavy winds, this tent will keep you protected. Colman a one year warranty, which helps provide peace of mind that the tent will last the test of time. Set up is easy, and only takes several minutes. Keep in mind that the screened-in porch area is not 100% weatherproof. If there are light showers, then it is possible that some of the rain seeps into your tent. To be safe, you might want to bring an extra tarp or some sort of waterproof blanket to cover your materials. Overall, the Coleman Dome Tent is a great tent at a great value, and we totally recommend it.

The Hui Lingyang 6 Person Easy Pop Up Tent is an amazing tent that is very innovative. My absolute favorite feature is the instant pop-up capabilities. When you take the tent out of its carrying case, the tent will instantly pop up so that you are ready to sleep in all of about 30 seconds. This is great for weary travelers. I also love the attached porch. Now, what makes this porch different from the Coleman Dome Tent is the fact that this porch is an actual room. Therefore, the contents inside will be fully protected from the elements. This attached porch a great place to keep your pets or your gear. In addition, this tent has amazing ventilation. On hot summer nights, you’re sure to get a great breeze, thanks to the large mesh walls on either side of the tent. The tent itself is 100% waterproof, protecting you from rain and snow and other elements. There are stash pockets throughout the tents, making it easy to store your keys, your phone and other small items. The only downside of this tent is that it’s hard to pack once you get it open. However, we found that after using it several times, it’s easy to get the hang of it. So to wrap up, we love this tent. We think it’s a very innovative option and we think you’re going to love it.

The CORE 6 Person Instant Cabin Tent is a great tent that makes a nice addition to your family camping trip. The first thing you’ll notice about this tent is how tall it is. Pretty much everywhere you’re standing inside the tent, it is going to be six feet tall. This means you can stand up and walk around, arrange bedding, etc. without hunching over. This is just a really nice feature that you’ll appreciate. Another feature about this tent is that it is completely open rather than having separate screened-in porches. Instead, this is a completely open tent, and it definitely gives you a feeling of spaciousness.

One of the features that you’re going to love is that there are lots of organization nets in this tent. There is a gear loft at the top where you can put little items. You can even hang your lantern. In addition, there’s also a really large wall organizer with pockets. Here, you can put things like maps, phones, keys, cords, and such. For such a large open tent, it can actually be setup very quickly. The package claims that it takes 60 seconds to set up, but we found that it actually takes more like two or three minutes. Still, though, that’s an extremely fast time to be able to set up a tent. The only thing to be aware of is that the main zipper seems to snag a lot. And when you’re in and out of a tent, loading and unloading it’s nice to have a zipper that works flawlessly. We found that spraying some WD 40 on the zipper system actually helped quite a bit. It may work for you as well. If you’re looking for a very well rounded tent, you’re going to love the CORE 6.

The OT QOMOTOP 6-Person Instant Cabin Tent is one of our favorite tents that can fit six people. Our absolute top feature is the amazing ventilation. When camping, especially with a lot of people, things can get toasty fast. This may be perfectly fine in the winter, but it gets a little steamy in the summer. This particular tent has plenty of ventilation to help prevent that from occurring. In addition, there are tons of windows everywhere. You’ll definitely feel very energized with all of the sunlight seaping through. The tent was fully waterproof, so if you get caught in a rain shower or even a light snowfall, you’ll find that this tent will keep you protected.

One of the cool features of this tent that we can’t say about a lot of tents, is that it is easy to fit the tent back inside the bag once you are done using it!! Most tents take so long to air out and roll it up just the right way that it can feel like pulling teeth. However, with this tent, it’s easy enough to get it right back in the bag and be on your merry way.

You’re also going to love the tent’s open layout. Because it is a cabin style tent, you’ll be able to see everything all at a glance, rather than having separate rooms or separate compartments. As with the other cabin style tent that we reviewed, the zipper here also gets stuck. So again, WD 40 can really help lubricate the zipper so that it doesn’t get stuck. We love the NTK Colorado GT 6 Person Family Tent. Not only is it beautiful, but it will protect you against some of the nasty elements that other tents will not. For example, this tent is UV protected all the way around. It is fire retardant so you don’t have to worry about getting the tent scorched. And it has an anti-fungal protectant on the floor of the tent so that your tent will not start to mildew and grow fungus or start to smell bad and perhaps become unsanitary. So with this tent, you don’t have to worry about those things, which is wonderful. In addition, this is a bit more of a rugged tent that you can use in the wilderness. For example, it is 100% waterproof. That is, if you encounter light or even heavy rain showers, this tent will have you protected. I love the two vestibules that allow you to keep your gear dry on the ground outside of your tent. The tent is very durable, made of materials that will last you a long time. You don’t have to worry so much about getting it snagged or torn because the quality is really nice. All of the mesh netting comprising the tent is small enough to keep mosquitoes out, but large enough for a gentle breeze. Speaking of breeze, we noticed that this tent does not have the world’s best ventilation. We do recommend packing a battery-operated fan.

If you’re looking for a little bit more of a hardcore camping experience, you’re going to love this tent. It is a great find, and we strongly recommend it.
